The Chef had the car serviced yesterday and on the way home, decided to take a detour to the Screen Door. What a nice change of pace. Dinner was delicious but with the added spice of my hamburger dinner was given to someone else so we had to wait for the next hamburger. Hmmmm. The wait wasn't boring. We got to watch our neighbor table build his "Dagwood" Hamburger Sandwich and the party of 6 ladies get giddy over mojitos and other kinds of exotic drinks. The long awaited hamburger and sweet potato fries arrived. Now we had to wait for the Chef's chicken and dumplings. The staff was not sync'd at all. However, we consoled ourselves with dessert, red velvet cake w/vanilla ice cream and southern pecan pie. Feeling better, left w/smiles and a full tummy.
