Today took Mama to Hiroshi's Anzen Japanese Grocery Store on MLK in front of the Convention Center. After we dropped her off at her apartment we went to Northwest Wools in Multnomah Village a few miles from Mama's apartment. Wowza! Struck gold. It is a quaint store that sells roving in quantities you want or need. I started my palette of surface wools. I had purchased Pendelton roving but it is not the quality that I'd like to use for some of the surface of the needle felted items.
In the near future we'll go to Twisted and Knit Purl and see what they are like. With a collection of stores to go to along with the Internet I'm all ready to start needle felting.
