Swan Island Dahlia Festival 2011

Every year we go, sometimes on the two Festival weekends and sometimes before or after. We went today, 3 Sep. The weather was perfect, the flowers were perfect. This year we looked at the miniature dahlias as a possibility of replacing our current family of dahlias. When we bought them they were low growing, meaning nothing because they do get rather large! So looking at miniatures.
