Ode to A Honeybee

Yesterday a honeybee died. She worked all summer among the lavender flowers.  Yesterday she got caught in the web that the spider that had taken up residence in the lavender recently had spun. Yesterday I  killed the spider who had taken up residence in the lavender flowers.
