Time for Private Garden Visits!

Last year we joined The Hardy Plant Society of Oregon and totally enjoyed visiting the open private gardens in the Spring, Summer, and Fall.  This year, garden visits have started again.  It is so very nice that so many of the members share their gardens!

Today we visited an open garden in Corbett.  It is a converted 2-room school house, Old Hurlburt School Gardens.  We met one of the gracious gardeners and her sweet ducks.  I found a plant that I'd like to try growing on our patio later this year for blooms hopefully next year.  It is called the terrestrial orchid.  I really miss orchids.  They don't look as hardy as the orchids in Hawaii, but they are pretty.
